The county dog wardens are responsible for the enforcement of dog control laws and for patrolling their respective county to seize and impound on-site all dogs found running at-large, and all dogs more than three months of age found not wearing a valid registration tag. The dog warden also investigates in humane treatment calls and investigates all claims for damages to animal, fowl, and poultry.
Instructions for 2003 Dog Tag Applications Please check the application for accuracy. Neatly correct your address, telephone number, or any information concerning your dog. If you have acquired a new dog, add it to the application. If you no longer have a dog listed on the application, please let us know so your account will not show as being delinquent. You must be 18 years of age to purchase a dog license. If you received an application and are not of age, you will have to register the dog under another name. The fee for the 2003 Dig License is $12.00 per dog, as of March, 2003. After the January 31, 2003 deadline, the fee is 20.00 per dog. As in previous years, all Kennel License must be purchased at the Auditor's Office or the Dog Pound. Purchase at Dog Agents You can take the enclosed application to any of the agents listed below until the deadline to purchase your dog tags. These agents can collect an administrative fee of 75 cents per dog in addition to the license fee.
