Early Intervention is a free service to families with children ages birth through two.  It is designed to serve those children with developmental delays or those with a delay in any area such as speech, vision, hearing, mental or physical health.  Free services provided include: screening of the child's development, evaluation of the child's total development, transitional services, help in locating services for the child and family, and parent to parent support provided by Early Intervention's parent coordinator.  If the child qualifies, physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy is available.
